• I have actually learned from watching the show, AND talking to my twenty year old son.  I was one of those that was totally against marijuana and very outspoken about it.  As a chronic pain patient for the past ten years or so, I have seen the bullsh@t people have to go through, even to get prescription meds needed to treat pain, and have seen the problems caused in my own body from taking fentanyl, oxycontin, etc.  The show taught me that marijuana really does help people who are suffering, and I, like most of America that doesn't support pot, did not know the facts, like how they can remove the thc, leaving the cannaboids that help patients, without getting them high.  My son moved to Colorado, and has always been outspoken for medical marijuana.  This show has actually opened up the dialogue between the two of us, as I ask him questions about it, and he is helping me to actually open up my mind and see the other side of the issue.  I have actually been considering a move to a state where patients CAN legally use marijuana.  I love watching the show, hearing how the different strains help different issues.  So...  while all of you guys who have been smoking pot for years may look at the show as ridiculous, 'cause you know more than they do...  remember, there are a lot of Americans...  ie voters, who don't know the facts, and are at least opening our minds from watching the show and learning more about the other side of things.

• I'm in the OKC area, and completely agree with you.  I'm on all the highest doses of the prescription meds, getting sicker from taking them, but Oklahoma will never approve legalized marijuana.

These days I smoke a small bit of Marijuana (with no negative side effects) to ease my stomach pain from Acid Reflux like doctors already perscribe Marijuana for an upset stomach from Keno Therapy. The Stomach is the Stomach. As a young person I smoked a lot of Marijuana for the "High". The same regulations that come with other substances like Alcohol and Cigarettes can be used to control and regulate Marijuana. We need to change the angle we speak from Re:Marijuana laws and change who should really be a strong supporter, reforming Marijuana Laws if they really cared about us, along with who are the fake "Poser's", those people that say they are on our side (when their not) and reveal whats really wrong with our Marijuana laws. On November 23rd after leaving the Woodbridge Mall where my co-worker and I worked, I was stopped by Woodbridge New Jersey Police in Woodbridge,NJ. FACT: I committed no moving violation to warrant  a stop (NO Probuble Cause) and then I was ilegally searched (because of the year of my car along with the fact that me as a White guy had a Black guy in my car. I was illegally arrested not once but twice. We were "Profiled". Warning...it appears as though it is illegal to have a While guy and a Black guy in the same car in New Jersey.The police created a false scenerio to support their fake, illegal stop, search and arrest and from that moment I took on the former Prosecuter of the Woodbridge N.J.Court who is now my attorney! My Constitutional Rights were violated! FACT: The Constitutuion of The United States of America that states our Rights,            WAS WRITTEN ON HEMP PAPER ! FACT: MARIJUANA...IS NOT THE "GATEWAY DRUG" TO "HARD DRUGS".           CIGARETTES...(addictive as they are) and then ALCOHOL. • I watched it and realized it does nothing positive for the industry and you could see through his bullshit. The west metro drug task force and DA of Jeferson County said on channel 12 a year ago that I was one of those illegal growers claiming to be medical user/grower. And because I was charged with a felony cultivation it proves it. The system is broke and the tv series is bs propaganda. I have been growing and using it medically for 20 years due to suffering chronic nasuea and chronic pain all my life. But apparently growin for myself without the infamous "red card" is proof that I'm not using it medically and I deserve to be punished. I was informed on by pricks like josh. He doesn't deserve his "dream" while folks like Chris and myself suffer ramifications from bitch snitches. Andy the owner of cannabis medical was on the channel 12 show while the DA did a number on me claiming I smoked cannabis and went snowboarding. Of course I did. That's my medicine damn it! I couldn't get out of bed due to the pain and smoking cannabis indica relieves the pain and allows me to enjoy my life and the sports i love. PROPAGANDA is the new USA.

• Wow that is the best description of him I have ever heard. • and of course, the westword and the only people who ever blog are back and they are all ant-josh.  Pretty funny how even in a nat geo series (that was a bit cheesy) yet still a step in the right direction to get the rest of the country and world for conservative christians to see what this plant is doing to help patients. I thought josh was right on in some of the things he said and yes...cannaboston, run for the cure was bad ass and a TRUE doc, however rick simpson has been raided and put in jail twice since that doc. not to say he wasnt doing the right thing but if we come straight out in this industry and say we are curing cancer we will have to pick between top and bottom bunk with rick and whether or not we look good in orange jump suits!   so instead to beat the system in a way we have to align ourselves with it and only say we are treating the symptoms of cancer and observing. and because the phoenix tears or raw oil is enabling our cancer patients to become white blood cell free we can let the world formulate their own opinions on this plant. so through education we can be just as powerful as rick and continue his legacy which has only begun in a sense!  overall i thought the show was too early to judge and extremely cheezy. i am glad fort collins was banned because i cant wait to see that dawn ladies new modeling pics!

• I for one am excited about the show. I have read all the Westword blogs on Josh Stanley, Budding Health and "how he can lick my nuttzack" but this show isn't just about Josh. It is about the industry and and the two different sides. I wish more people would just investigate the issue of medical marijuana themselves. This isn't about any one person. Stop Hating

• Can Nat Geo get us the MMED application on file paperwork or OPC license number of that Outdoor Grow? Oh well, since it is illegal I guess not... Does NatGeo interview Josh's workers that have allegedly never been paid? I knew the industry was overestimating Josh's integrity, now maybe the MMED will figure it out too!
