Many law enforcement agencies across the state compile and update their own most-wanted-criminals list -- and the one maintained by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office demonstrates the distressingly widespread and commonplace nature of domestic violence. All twelve people on its current list -- eleven men and one woman -- are wanted for this offense.
