Photos: Kenia Monge memorial walk
On April 1, 2011, recent Cherry Creek High grad Kenia Monge disappeared shortly after hanging with friends at a local club. That September, Travis Forbes, originally thought to be a good Samaritan, led police to Monge's body; he'll spend the rest of his life in jail for killing her. At a memorial walk yesterday, though, Monge's family and loved ones shifted the focus from Forbes to Kenia, a young woman whose life was cut tragically short. Our Javid Rezvani took photos at this moving event. See them below.
