No, this lady didn't win the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. Instead, Dorthy Gibbons is being rewarded for how she handled her Shih Tzu's shit.

For twelve years, the local company called Pet Scoop has scooped Sasha's poop. And yesterday, it so happened that Gibbons's was the millionth yard Pet Scoop was scheduled to clean -- hence, the balloons, as well as a photographer and videographer whose work is on view below.

Pet Scoop was started eighteen years ago by Sam Johnson, who was then an M.B.A. student at the University Colorado Denver and is now Pet Scoop's distinguished President and Scoop Master. Reaching one million yard cleanups is "unprecedented in our industry," Johnson told Westword. He and his fellow pooper scoopers wanted to celebrate the occasion by surprising the millionth-yard customer with balloons, a doggie gift basket and a gift certificate for a year of free service.

Here are photos of the Ed McMahon-like moment, as well as live-action video of the actual poop scooping. Cinematic genius, we say.
