Reader: Urban camping ban an emergency because of feared Occupy Denver build-up

Albus Brooks.
Kelsey Whipple's coverage of a proposed urban camping ban includes a post in which city councilman/chief backer Albus Brooks argued that the issue constitutes an emergency.

One reader has a theory about why that might be the case in Brooks's view.

Cuester writes:

"The goal is also not to target Occupy Denver, though 'I do know the Golden Triangle and its communities are very upset about that,' Brooks said."

In other words, we have an emergency because we're pretty sure Occupy Denver will be back this Spring.
