Chris Utterback's post about Representative Doug Lamborn's concern that a photo showing a five-year-old girl in polluted water constituted child porn has generated lots of debate, as well as some fascinating takes on misreadings of perfectly acceptable material.

My mother used to work for a book distributor, and she got a call one day from a woman who was very upset to have just opened a big box full of child porn. Turned out it was a bunch of Anne Geddes calendars -- (that the woman had ordered). On the cover was a naked baby with angel wings.
