Reader: Michael Hancock's spinning on gang violence inspires buyer's remorse
Last week, in a post by Sam Levin, Mayor Michael Hancock described as a distraction speculation that Denver police officer Celena Hollis's suspected murderer was a gang member.
That's the sort of assertion guaranteed to spur conversation. Here's the response of a reader left dizzy by Hancock's approach to the issue.
Bob Smith writes:
I might have been wrong; maybe Hancock IS qualified for higher office. He's learned to never answer a question, just spin like a top and that's certainly the minimum qualification. Why did we elect this BS artist?
Oh yeah -- Chris Romer.
I'm getting a real case of buyer's remorse. Mr. "Revenue agents with guns" looks better and better in hindsight.
