Aurora theater shooting: Bizarre court filing blames massacre on police chief, Illuminati

Thumbnail image for william sylvester.jpg
Judge William Sylvester.
The "Order Re: Motion to Intervene" begins by noting that "the Court has information that the named victim...did not file this pleading, and it appears that someone may be filing pleadings with false names."

Hence, Sylvester goes on, the motion doesn't require a ruling because it's illegitimate -- but "this Court has concerns about the mental health of the individual filing these pleadings. As such, the Court ORDERS that a copy of the Motion to Intervene and this Order be forwarded to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office for an appropriate investigation." In addition, a copy is also directed to the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services Adult Protection Services unit "for potential referral to an appropriate mental health agency."

Sylvester also directed that the documents be made public -- a move that invites speculation about his reasoning. One possibility: He's upset that he had to waste his time with such a matter and wants to alert staffers to the possibility of more bogus filings in a case that could go on for a long, long time.

Here's the motion, followed by Judge Sylvester's order.

Your comments are the most intelligent and well-researched on this thread, that's why you are getting trolled and shilled.  None of the trolls actually address any of your points, they only ridicule.  Another tactic they use is to bring in un-connected "information" in order to distract and divert attention to patent nonsense.  Non-thinking people are easily led by such tactics unfortunately and don't want to realise that most of their lives is just an illusion.

You have done a brilliant job and I echo hootowl in saying thank you!!!!

Thanks, Westword. I like that you continue posting on this story because it does get more and more strange but all the while closer to the actual truth.

I'd like to see whatever security footage is available from that night a well as the gabby giffords shooting. Neither of the patsies seem capable of carrying out either attack single handedly and there are many people trying to politicize both shootings (on a national level). We deserve to get the facts straight and the best way to do it is too release the security camera footage... But our government would rather further polarize us into people who believe everything the authorities say and people who don't believe anything they say. My guess is the truth is somewhere in between but either way this is worthy I further investigation vs simply dismissing it a conspiracy theory.

Conspiracies are easy and comforting to believe in because they deny the more complex, despairing truth about our society. James Holmes did what he did and we will never understand why. That's a lot scarier, isn't it? Especially when you have the intellectual acumen of a nine year old, like the bulk of the commenters on this thread. I know creating some overaching conspiracy makes you feel better, makes you feel more in control, but by denying what is in front of you means you are only delaying the inevitable, which is the comprhension that this life is full of human monsters who walk among us. Conspiracies are the nightlight that keep the scared little children company in the dark.

Why on earth would they turn the matter over to the Arapahoe Sheriff's Department if the whole system weren't corrupt?  If what he says is true, he has no protection.  If they commit him, no one can help him.  I've tried looking for family members in mental hospitals and they are not legally allowed to say if a patient has been admitted or not.

I believe this filling is the work of Jonathan Lee Riches, a notorious vexatious litigant and former federal inmate.

Exhibit A: http://yeompyolee.blogspot.com/2012/08/yeom-pyo-lee-file-motion-to-intervene.html

A Blogspot post which purports to be a "motion to intervene" by Yeom Pyo Lee.

Some of you will remember that Mr. Lee, a former classmate of James Holmes, was briefly a person of interest when it was alleged that his cell phone was used to send a threat to the Aurora Police which demanded the release of James Holmes from custody.

http://globalgrind.com/news/james-holmes-classmate-yeom-pyo-lee-questioned-after-aurora-movie-theater-shooting-details

You'll notice that the bottom of the blog posting that it was posted by "jonathan lee riches". Also note that it was posted August 19, eight days before the motion mentioned in this story was filed (August 27).

Both documents are formatted almost identically. The blog entry has all the particulars correct (court's location, case number, etc.). Both documents mention the "illuminati", Police Chief Dan Oates and District Attorney Carol Chambers. Additionally, they both contain similar phrasing (use of "asap" in regards to releasing Holmes particularly stands out).

Who is Jonathan Lee Riches?

Exhibit B: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Lee_Riches

In a nutshell, Mr. Riches was a federal inmate until a few months ago. He's notorious for the ungodly amount of lawsuits he's filed against a wide range of well known people. His exploits have made the news many times over the last few years. Essentially, he entertained himself by creating ridiculous pleadings and wasting the time of many, many, many people who had to deal with answering his ridiculous claims.

If Mr. Riches is not responsible, it's someone who's impersonating him. Based on his previous behavior, I have zero problem assuming he's more than capable of this, and I highly doubt anyone would waste their time trying to frame him.

This article and the subsequent posts below prove one thing in a direct and dramatic fashion: mental illness is widespread and common in contemporary American culture.

There is some truth to this motion. Carli Richards is indeed an actress and her sidekick Chris Townsend is another liar.. These 'victims' would probably sell their mothers just for money. Dan Oates was involved in 911. Carol Chambers wants to send everyone to death penalty and she even bribes witnesses buying cars and other gifts.

Of course -- Chief Oaf has a college degree; he must be a member of the Illuminati!  What dark rituals did he and Anschutz perform in preparation for the assault?  According to the motion, the Chief personally shot the petitioner; I suppose that he wanted to do the job himself instead of leaving it to his brainwashed minions.  Sylvester's concern for the mental health of the petitioner should probably extend to at least 20% of area residents.  There is no good therapeutic intervention for paranoia.

 @Chris

Conspiracys also sheds a different light on things that are told.

Sometimes they make more sense then non conspiracy theories and some of them are even proved to be right.

Conspiracys are not only nightlights but they are sometimes full of truth..

Sometimes conspiracys are the more complex, despairing truth about our society instead of what we are told.

Sometimes people who don't wish to accept it, have the lies and non conspiracys as nightlight that keep the scared little children company in the dark.

If you don't question the things you are being told you never find out the truth...

Mankind is more capable of then we know. You just have to figure the pattern.

I question my Government...

@RobertChase "There is no good therapeutic intervention for paranoia."  I'm sorry, I wasn't going to comment on this thread, but, this deserves a response.

Paranoia is a response to danger, real or perceived.  Just because someone is paranoid, doesn't mean that someone else isn't out to get them.

Anyone who knows anything about the prosecution of a crime knows that, unless it is all caught on tape, the prosecutor comes into court with their "theory" of the case.  The theory must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to either a judge or a jury.  Until it is so proved, it is just a theory and if more than one person is involved, it is a conspiracy theory.  Sometimes, in their wisdom,  juries laugh these government conspiracy theorists out of court.

Government employees are human, like the rest of us, after all, and are just as prone to error or corruption as the rest of humanity.  To paraphrase the great Ronald Reagan -- don't trust until you verify!

 @RobertChase

Yep -- sarcasm and condescending accusations of 'paranoia'. Who said anything about a 'college degree'? Why do people like you always try to frame anyone who doubts the establishment's version of events as clinically ill and "paranoid"? Does it make you feel

Chief Oaf, as you call him, was formerly the chief of intelligence for the NYPD, which maintains a close relationship with the CIA (look it up). Guess when he left the NYPD and New York? Three weeks before 9/11.

Guess who Chief Oaf's boss, the police commissioner, was? Howard Safir.

Safir left the NYPD in 2000 to become a consultant to the chief executive of Choicepoint, the same corporation that helped steal Florida for Bush.

Before the election, Richard Armitage sat on the board of Choicepoint. Armitage served in Vietnam and was involved in the Phoenix Program, a brutal CIA operation concerned with the illegal torture and murder of up to 40,000 Vietnamese men, women, and children.

After the election, Armitage went from the board of Choicepoint to a high-ranking position in the newly-elected President George W. Bush's State Department.

Five months before the 9/11 attacks, Choicepoint bought Bode Technology Group. After the attacks, Bode received the contract for the DNA identification of the 9/11 victims. Guess who "urged" Choicepoint to purchase Bode only five months before it would receive the contract of its lifetime? Howard Safir, former boss of Chief Oaf.

So, there is one degree of separation between your Chief Oaf and Choicepoint. Furthermore, his longtime position as the chief of intelligence for the NYPD places him in direct contact/collaboration with the CIA.

As for Phil Anschutz, he is a neoconservative multibillionaire who helped fund Bush's campaign and supported the war in Iraq. Anschutz owns the Weekly Standard, a newspaper edited by William Kristol. Kristol's father, Irving, is seen as the "godfather of neoconservatism" and was a CIA asset working for the Congress for Cultural Freedom (CCF), a CIA front.

Kristol, himself, co-founded the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), a group that drafted plans for an invasion of Iraq in 1998. In September 2000, the PNAC group released a report called "Rebuilding America's Defenses" in which they stated that there should be a massive increase in military spending. They said that their agenda would probably not be fulfilled unless a "catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new pearl harbor" occurred. A year later, they would get their wish. A week before the 9/11 attacks, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld exhibited foreknowledge by inexplicably requesting a meteoric rise in defense spending (one that hadn't been seen in decades). Obviously, his request was granted (and PNAC's agenda was filled) after the attacks on America. Rumsfeld, by the way, was a member of PNAC and had signed their 1998 plans for an invasion of Iraq, along with Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz.

There is strong evidence suggesting the involvement of slime like Anschutz and Oates in the Aurora massacre.

Isn't it interesting how both men are one degree of separation from 9/11?

Oates (who left the NYPD and New York three weeks before 9/11) formerly reported to Howard Safir, who went onto become a consultant to the chief executive of Choicepoint. He inexplicably "urged" them to buy a massive DNA laboratory (Bode Technology Group) five months before the 9/11 attacks. After the attacks, Bode received the contract to identify the 9/11 victims.

Anschutz owned a newspaper edited by the founder of a neoconservative group that planned the invasion of Iraq in 1998 and wrote a report expressing hope for a "new pearl harbor" to justify an increase in military spending only a year before 9/11.

These characters are all part of the same network. Some like to call it the Illuminati.

@michael.roberts  @Scarifying  Typical that the author of the story ignores the more conspiracy comments, which are more sensible given the fact that mountains of evidence throws serious doubt on Holmes' guilt.

Hey Scarifying, was the witness who saw gas canisters thrown from opposite sides of the room wearing a 'tinfoil hat'?

Or are you just throwing out a mindless, unoriginal joke, the comedic value of which you cannot even explain. The media has repeatedly told you that anyone who questions the government wears a tinfoil hat. For mindlessly believing that, I think you are the joke, not the conspiracy theorists you ridicule.

@shadowluigi The person arrested and the school photos of bozo the clown don't even match-up.  We could form a class-action civil lawsuit and present our research to a jury. Just something to think about. All evidence points to a police staged event.

WhoCares
WhoCares

@shadowluigi  I don't know if you saw the first live video feeds but they all contradict the official police story. Add to that Arapahoe being the most corrupt county in the USA and this was an obvious police staged event. My research leads me to believe it was planned out of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Read the history of that base and it will make sense. I do think bozo the clown is guilty but he had help. Bozo the clown only shot into the air.

This was another attack against white people. The real shooters were black. Whites have been targeted in Aurora for many years. The theater is in a mostly black area with immigrants shipped in by the federal government. 70 white people were shot. No black was touched. Black people on the live video say the gunmen refused to shoot at any black person. Only whites were targeted.

Let's not forget that CU was hosting a "training" exercise that same day and time with the exact scenario. http://tinyurl.com/cm79pwm

Funny how you didn't respond to one point I made. Shows how much you know about this case.

I didn't "invent" the witness testimony that identified someone other than Holmes. The witnesses said it, and I don't think that they were "inventing" anything. They were there. You were not.

I didn't "invent" the second gas mask. It can be seen clearly in the visual imagery surrounding the event. Would you like a link?

I didn't "invent" the mysterious death of Jenny Gallagher. It happened -- even though it is being unbelievably underreported.

Point out one thing that I've used to support my argument that I "invented". Until you do so, your joke falls flat and you look like a moron. Go learn something about the case before spouting off.

 @Scarifying

Why say that I've been "fed" by "Loose Changers" when you don't know me and you don't know how I came to my conclusions? This is a perfect example of the danger of assumptions. Though I don't believe the establishment's version of the 9/11 attacks is at all accurate, I couldn't give a flying crap about "Loose Change".

I do my own research - you can verify what I am saying about the eyewitnesses and the second gas mask if you do the same. I feel that, instead, you've chosen to let the mainstream media (owned by five corporations) and the federal government tell you exactly what happened. You viciously insult and ridicule anyone who dares to question their viewpoint, no matter what evidence they bring to the table. Does that sound to you like a rational person or a "good German"?

Your appeal to "ballistics, DNA, fingerprints" is ridiculous on so many levels. First of all, we have not seen any of that evidence because of the gag order. Why assume what it says, or that anything presented by the police is honest? Do you know the track record of law enforcement (federal and local) in forcing confessions, planting evidence, and coercing witnesses?

You call people "tinfoil hat wearing lunatics" for analyzing the "evidence" with a critical eye. Apparently anyone who attempts to conduct their own investigation and comes back with  different results than the establishment is some kind of loon. How convenient is that for those in power?

But whatever - forget whether or not the evidence has been manipulated. You haven't seen it - no one outside of the court has. So why bring it up to defend your position?

Why call all of the evidence "mindless drivel" without even addressing most of it? How do you think that comes off?

Your dismissal of the eyewitness testimony falls flat on its face. You state: "Eyewitness testimony is one of the least relied upon types of evidence, precisely because it's little tough to empirically measure the events unfolding around you when bullets are flying past your head."

However, when Corbin Dates saw a man with a goatee take a call, leave his seat, and prop open the emergency door before appearing to "wave" to someone, he did not have bullets flying past his head. This was an observation made before the shooting and, thus, before the "fog of war" could have its effect. How, then, do you explain the fact that the details he recalls don't fit at all with the official version and its redheaded villain? If this wasn't a show trial, this would be very damaging to the prosecution's case.

The eyewitness who saw two gas canisters thrown from opposite sides of the room also did not have "bullets flying past his head" because the assailant(s) opened fire after throwing the canisters. For this reason, this memory was the one he was most able to recall. He specifically stated that because of the gas canisters being thrown from opposite sides, he felt there was more than one attacker. The police dispatch tapes and the early news reports support this conclusion.

When did I say that Gallagher's death is "all the proof" a critical thinker needs? And when did I say that most drownings aren't "to death" to prove my point? Good satire pokes fun at what someone has actually said. When you put words in their mouth, it's just called a strawman argument.

I don't understand how anyone could view Gallagher's death as non-suspicious. She was a national hero who met with Obama after the shootings, and yet her unnatural, untimely death so soon after went completely unreported until awhile after it had happened? Why did hardly any American media outlets pick up the story? Why were there three or four different reports as to where she died? Who was the "friend" she was swimming with and why haven't they been identified? Why did Gallagher go swimming in the lake if she was a poor swimmer, as we're told? Wasn't the "friend" keeping an eye on her?

So many questions and so few answers. I didn't really get any answers from you, that's for sure. Just baseless sarcasm and emotionally-charged ridicule. How is my information about Gallagher's death "hearsay" when it has been reported by mainstream media outlets? Do you know what "hearsay" means? Or were you referring to the other evidence? If so, I'll have to inform you that first-hand eyewitness testimony and visual evidence aren't considered "hearsay" anywhere. Perhaps you should look up these words before using them to ridicule people.

You sarcastically conclude that "no court in the land" could deny my version of events. The fact is, no critical thinker can accept the version of events that has been fed to us, whether or not they buy into "conspiracy theories". Nothing about this story makes sense.

Your dismissal of all of this evidence as "mindless drivel" shows that you are not a critical thinker, or are at least not using your critical thinking skills. Rather, you simply want to dump on "conspiracy theories". It's the trendy thing to do, after all. Who sets the trends, I wonder?

Scarifying
Scarifying

You spouting a bunch of mindless drivel fed to you by the Loose Changers isn't "evidence". Evidence is empirical, gathered under controlled circumstances and usually provable through repeated experimentation....like ballistics, DNA, fingerprints....you know, all those things that tinfoil hat wearing lunatics usually debunk as falsified and planted? Eyewitness testimony is one of the least relied upon types of evidence, precisely because it's little tough to empirically measure the events unfolding around you when bullets are flying past your head. But, hey, a nurse who happened to be involved in the shooting just "drowned to death"! What more proof does a "critically thinking" person need? Am I right? After all, most drownings aren't "to death", so there must be a widespread conspiracy to "drown to death" any eyewitnesses to the tragedy! That's excepting the people who "fall off a high place and are ambushed by gravity to death", are "shot, stuffed in an oildrum and set on fire to death" and "get in their car and start it only to have it explode them to death". Thanks for proving me wrong with your incontrovertible evidence, fed to you second hand as hearsay. What court in the land could stand before such a bulwark of truth and still deny your version of events? I better watch my back, the government is out there and I might get blown up by thermite in a highrise and controlled implosioned to death if I cross them!

shadowluigi
shadowluigi

@TheSpleen  @michael.roberts  @Scarifying Morons like you unthinkingly assign that label to anyone who thinks critically about these events. It just makes you look stupid.

Again, explain to me why eyewitnesses saw gas canisters thrown from opposite sides of the room if there was only one assassin.

Explain to me why Corbin Dates described the man who propped open the emergency door as being someone who had a goatee -- certainly not Holmes.

Explain to me why the police dispatch tapes contain mention of other suspects.

Explain to me why a second gas mask was found one hundred meters from the scene of Holmes' arrest. Who did that belong to?

Unless you can provide a solid answer to questions like these, no one is going to take your argument that conspiracy theorists are "clinically paranoid" very seriously. It's easy to talk out of your ass. Let's see you back it up with some evidence.

By the way, have you heard about Jenny Gallagher, the nurse who "saw everything" in the aftermath of the Aurora shootings? Have you heard about how she mysteriously drowned to death quite recently? There were three or four wildly contradictory reports about where she died, and it was virtually unreported in the United States, despite the fact that she was hailed as a hero of the event.

While you and your ilk laugh at conspiracy theorists, witnesses are dying. As far as I'm concerned, the willfully ignorant have blood on their hands. The blood of the victims, the blood of the dead witnesses, and, in the future, the blood of an innocent man.
