Reader: Erik Jensen, juvenile lifer, deserves a second chance at life

Erik Jensen.
Alan Prendergast's feature article about juvenile lifers, "The Old Boys," was supplemented online by a series of posts, including one telling the tale of Eric Jensen, whose attempt to help a friend has already resulted in fifteen years behind bars. One of our readers believes that's more than enough time.

kranburg writes:

This case is a monumental tragedy. Nathan exhibited every red flag of abuse and Erik sensed it. They were kids and one of them was being ignored by everyone but the other kid. Erik has a big heart and has grown to become an example of what a good man should be. He's spent 15 years in prison for truly believing he was helping a friend. It's time to send him home!!

why is it that Westord just reposts these comments? where is the story about this? Are these reposts just an opportunity to have more ad displays? A little digging maybe.. something beyond cut and paste from the comments section?
