Lab testing isn't the panacea it's Cracked up to be.

Does a famous chef or wine maker have to send their products to a lab to prove they are of the highest quality? I do and have tested my product only for certain reasons. To get a baseline on the product. Routine testing is not necessary and only a rule or crazy guideline for foolish business owners.

Lab testing ensures you are buying Marijuana, not mold, mildew and spider mites.

A64 was written for the MMED as A64 says the Medical Marijuana Code 10 times. Our Medical Marijuana Regulations might be an epic pain in the ass to follow, but they have lead to some pretty great stuff.

How many of you ever thought you would get Lab Testing results of the Marijuana you were looking at without getting arrested and having the police do the test for you? Hell how many of you ever dreamed you would by your Marijuana in a store just like you buy everything else?

Colorado was miles ahead of the rest of the Country before A-64.

@DonkeyHotay I am not ignoring anything. First you're the only person claiming Colorado ever had 1000 Dispensaries. Most folks, put the peak around 800, but assuming your number is true what separated those that died from those that survived?

They all had the same EVIL REGULATIONS... So, what, those that survived have magic powers? Or did their owners and employees have to do something other than rant on the internet to keep their business open?

My point still stands. Our regulations might be a pain, but clearly they are not that hard to follow, after all 500+ retail locations and better than 1000 grow spaces manage just fine, and have for years.

So they're considering allowing out of state owners to run CO dispenses? I guess all the out of state money that went to pay for the passage of Amendment 64 had decided it's time to get paid. If this goes through, expect the big money folks to wipe out locally owned shops in short order, and Walmartification of marijuana to begin in CO.

So it sounds like the "changes" are more regulation, except in the cases where they made it so draconian they couldn't get it implemented.

The one thing that sounded worthwhile was coming up with a definition of a cutting, or in particular, when it becomes "a plant." IMO, it's not a plant until it's in a viable growing medium (like, say, a container larger than a solo cup.)

I don't like the 70/30 rule but everything else looks pretty good. Long time coming for most of it, especially the list for prohibited processes, additives, chemicals, and fertilizers. I'm not allowed to put AVID in my body when I eat lettuce, I shouldn't be allowed to put it in my body when I smoke it.

I have noticed 'certain' propietors of MMJ businesses 'spiking' prices as they try to snatch up as much cash as possible BEFORE it's not a big deal. These are the shops that will go out of business once the retail model comes to fruition....Better enjoy it while u can.. :)
