So when I get popped 2 days after smoking I will be collecting the fines and fees from all 64 supporters asses. Funny before "legal" weed I never worried about a pot DUI. Good Job everyone nice way to totally fuck up what was working just fine. Wasn't it easier when you just called your buddy and picked up a bag? What is Westord going to do with no retail pot ad's? I just hate agreeing with the DONKEY and the NUT TAPPER!!!!!!!!!!

 **** REGULATION WORKS! ****

Bend Over and FEEL that REGULATION, you puerile pot punks!

___ Westminster council votes to ban retail pot operations ___

Westminster has joined the list of Colorado communities that are preempting the work of the state's Amendment 64 task force by outlawing recreational pot shops now.

The Westminster City Council on Monday voted 7-0 to ban marijuana retail stores, commercial cultivation and manufacturing facilities within city limits. The emergency ordinance went into effect immediately, city spokesman Joe Reid said.

Westminster already prohibits medical marijuana dispensaries and cultivation facilities, a ban that was approved in July 2010 after two dispensaries set up shop in the city in 2009, Reid said.

*** Get REGULATED, Suckers! ***

Greenwood Village City Council voted to ban use, possession and transportation of marijuana on city property. That is not so unusual, as numerous cities and counties have restricted marijuana after the passage of Amendment 64.

Here's the catch, though: The Greenwood Village ordinance defines city property to include all the public streets and sidewalks in the city. That makes it illegal even to drive through the city with an otherwise legal amount of marijuana in the car.

These are simply recommendations. It's not surprising at all that the extreme "anti" factions are gonna be floating some really BAD ones. Nothing has been passed yet, so now is the time to weigh in with your opinions. (And doing on an internet message board doesn't count!)

I'm not sure how an all-out marketing ban could EVER work; Constitutionally or practically! First-and-foremost there are huge and obvious free-speech implications. Also, the medical dispensaries' continued ability to advertise would render the whole thing moot. Leave it to idiot politicians to believe that they could police the internet too...

This totally looks like legalization!

Thank you A64 and the Wasteword for making it very clear what people were voting for by calling it the Regulation of Marijuana Like Alcohol Act and saying it´s totally leaglization.

Becasue no one ever said that calling it regulation in a manner simillar to alcohol or legalization would be confusing and MISLEADING to the public.

If that was the case you shure would look like a bunch of lying asses to a lot of people.  But do not fret becasue this is totally legalization.

You stupid stoners BEGGED the Government to REGULATE your precious pot, and you clueless clowns SURRENDERED TOTAL CONTROL of marijuana via A64 over to the same ANTI-marijuana politicians, Big Government Bureaucrats and Law Enforcement Goons who've been running the Drug War against you for the past 40+ years.

Now Bück Dich and receive the FIST of REGULATION that you morons so ignorantly voted for!

@AugmentedFourth ... there is no "weighing in" you ignorant stump-stupid stoner.

A64 SURRENDERED TOTAL CONTROL of Marijuana over to the same anti-pot Big Government Politicians and Regulators who've been running the DRUG WAR against you, you clueless fucking imbecile.

@AugmentedFourth ¨Nothing has been passed yet, so now is the time to weigh in with your opinions.¨

That´s a cute idea.  I live in reality so here is what is going on, they don´t give a fuck about your opinion, are you kidding me?

But I am sure if you make the point enough that a cannabis DUID is unconstitutional and unscientific they will not try to pass a cannabis dui bill 3 years in a row.

Not regulating mine, the black market thrives. As soon as A64 drives the price back up all the better!

@DonkeyHotay I'm starting to think I voted the wrong way, damn these Monkeys, Twirlers, reviewers, lawyers, activists, politicians, McMottas, y task force clowns, and  everyone else, I was fooled!  This really isn't legalization at all!  Putting off industrial hemp until 2014!  WTF?  Ask the Feds to allow drug dollars (double WTF?).  Asking the Feds for guidance is a bout as dumb as making local cops enforce Federal law!

@DonkeyHotay @AugmentedFourth Aaron Sawyer, you remain an idiot.  Marijuana regulation has been completely controlled by Big Government Politicians and Regulators for the last century.  Your comprehension level is abysmal.

@DonkeyHotay @CoreyDonahue Easier to write the rules of war as a constitutional amendment.  I hear they are going to get E-warrants for roadside blood draws of drivers suspected of being under the influence of marijuana.  That does fall under the frist line of A64 N THE INTEREST OF THE EFFICIENT USE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT RESOURCES,

DonkeyisHATEFUL

@JimTom Ok, perhaps you've missed econ 101 where they talked about supply and demand.  How, exactly, is A64 supposed to drive up the cost?  Check craigslist to verify the current price of one pound of wholesale marijuana is less than $2000 ($15/eighth).

@CoreyDonahue @DonkeyHotay Gee Corey you "hear that" huh?  So you never actually read the article.  Way to be responsible...post without reading the article.  Moron.

If you want to talk to Aaron the Jackass, email him:  asawyer@us.ibm.com  Don't waste our time with your ill-informed opinions about what you might have "heard".

@DonkeyHotay But that´s not what the advertisments said. Wasteword told me it was legalization and regulation like alcohol.  Now they didn´t lie to everyone did they?

DonkeyHotay

@CoreyDonahue ... along with A64's declaration that marijuana is a PUBLIC HEALTH and SAFETY hazard that needs severe restrictions and CONTINUATION of 99.9%% of all STATE CRIMINAL laws against it.

@DonkeyHotay @tutonehcc No it doesn't hurt, you make it better Donkey, you make it all make sense!  Keep up the good work my humble companion.
