Bryan Carver allegedly put his GPS on his dog -- and violated his parole with guns and cocaine

What does a dog named Nuzzy have to do with the arrests of Bryan Carver and Michael Byrd on a potpourri of charges involving drugs and weapon possession by previous offenders?

The answer has to do with Nuzzy's collar -- after which Carver and Byrd were the ones getting collared. Details in probable cause statements on view below.

This past December 19, according to the statement associated with Carver, parole officers were conducting a surveillance operation at 226 South Stuart Street.

The GPS Carver had been ordered to wear showed he was inside the residence, but they soon came up with incontrovertible evidence that he wasn't.

The clue? They saw him drive up and go inside.

At that point, the parole officers knocked on the front door of the house and saw what's described as a juvenile female look out the window -- strike two against Carver, since, as a convicted sex offender, he was under orders not to be in such close proximity to any young girls whatsoever.

As for strike three, it had to do with Carver's exit strategy: He and Byrd, another man with a felony conviction in his past, tried to flee out the back of the house.

No wonder, since a search of the property turned up a number of things that neither man was supposed to have in his possession -- such as a shitload of guns, plus meth and crack cocaine. The latter was found near a Ruger .380 semi-automatic handgun...and paperwork for Byrd's bond.

Oh yeah: Carver's GPS was found attached to the collar on Nuzzy, described as "his little dog."

Perhaps one of the owners of a recently murdered dog could provide 'Nuzzy' w/ a nice new home ....

Oh, by the way, serious kudos to the parole officer for doing his job & getting ALL THOSE GUNS OFF THE STREET !

Is 'Nuzzy' currently facing 'The Chair' at the local S.P.C.A. ? DPD, the state parole, & THE COMMUNITY, OWES NUZZY !  I'm willing to bet the guns weren't all intended for 'hunting' ....

Both Carver & Byrd are likely to receive sentences somewhere in the range of twenty years, each .

Meanwhile, Patrick Sullivan CONTINUES TO LAUGH IN THE FACE OF JUSTICE & how it will NEVER apply to him .....

HipTip: Neck / Face Tattoos = Epic Life FAIL!

BTW -- where in the Second Amendment does it say that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms SHALL BE INFRINGED ?

He probably would have gotten away with it, for occasional jaunts, except once it worked, he couldn't just stay at home, could he?

@Juan_Leg... at least these Parole Officers had more respect for dogs than the trigger-happy cowards on the metro-area Police forces, eh?

I just got off the phone w/ Denver city, & have someone trying to locate 'Nuzzy' . To ENSURE this, I additionally placed calls to channels 4 & 2 / 31,  and 'pitched it like a sale' to a cpl of reporters who TOO agreed this IS a story of interest . Both promised to give this IMMEDIATE attention and would get back w/ me should they find anything . I did leave my number .

WHERE'S NUZZY ???!!!
