More from our News archive: "Photos: Avery Workman found safe -- but was she a runaway or drugging victim?"
Back in the 80s I had a cousin in kind of the same situation; she got into drugs and hooked up with some shady gangbanger types here in Denver and they did take her to Las Vegas and got her into prostition. She wasn't really held against her will per se but she did "disappear" for a while too because she was too ashamed to let our family know what she was up. She eventually came back home to Denver and turned her life around, hope the same for this young woman.
"Modeling" = one step above Prostitution
I think we have a tendency to discount the importance of searching for those who have wandered into the seedy side of life and that's terribly saddening. The harsh reality is the lack of contact with anyone does not lend itself to a favorable outcome and that should be cause for an even more intensive search. She deserves to be found and if she was murdered, the killer identified.
Wonder if she hangs with the band next door? And does she have a connection to plate 274-FBX? I sent the following email to a Denver Cop 5 days ago. This is the first time since 10-05-12, I saw this woman that looks like the one that was with the group, I saw Jessica with! I saw her out back first today..then she and a guy loaded up some luggage and just left. I tried to get a picture..memory full then this one. It is the greenish suv next to tree. Leaving I got a plate I think 274 XBF.
@bugsycook My sentiments, exactly .
@bugsycook A very hopeful post, Bugsy. We're going to make it an upcoming Comment of the Day. Thanks.
