America will simply have to deal with its (seriously declining) violence problem without blaming guns, because guns are merely one of the tools which can be used for violence (or defense from it.)

You'd never know from all the hype that year-over-year, decade-over-decade, violence, including gun-related homicides, is down. Not just a little, either. It's down fifty percent over a bit more than a decade.

The killer's mother explained the situation to a reporter from each television news station yesterday evening, as well as on all morning broadcasts .

He was , 'Seething' . Okay now. That makes sense . Though I do recall 'seething' the ENTIRE 2011 Bronco season & everyone around me still breathes .

@DonkeyHotay The same number who were murdered by guns. Zero. How many people were killed by something they did while using spoons? The data may not be tracked, but I know the gun-banning types would claim all obesity- and food-related deaths were caused by spoons because they're at the scene of the crime--if it fit their goals, that is.

When you look at the majority of gun crime in this country, 9 times out of 10 they are purchased illegally. Most of the illegal guns in this country come from Mexico. Most of the guns that get shipped to Mexico come from the US from gun running programs like Fast and Furious which then points back to the highest levels government. It's kinda funny that the same people trying to ban guns are also the same people propping them up in the black market. So whether you ban legal assault rifles or not, I'm not sure how that will prevent gun crime... because you know... criminals always follow the law.
