Reader: Marijuana regulations do Colorado proud

Our post about the latest recommendations from the Amendment 64 task force -- including blessing the prospect of marijuana tourism -- spurred a lively conversation about the pros and cons of assorted rules and regs. Still, responses to the concept didn't go more positive than this one:

Mark Theguythatcouldfly writes:

Colorado, you make me proud. Way to go! Putting jobs and millions of dollars into the economy, instead of the black market! There will not be a database of buyers. You will have to show legal proof of age, but no personal information will be recorded. And limiting tourists only encourages locals to start a black market of selling ounces to out-of-towners..Or sharing in exchange for a gift of cash...People are going to take weed out of Colorado, including residents. And isn't it better to take back regulated and taxed cannabis than be forced to go back and buy black-market weed?
