It SEEMS that the tr0ll DH is still trying to PI$$ people off. Stop feeding the tr0ll DH, he is continuous government mouthpiece spouting the propaganda that is keeping the drug war going. I wonder; does he own a drug treatment clinic or a urinalysis lab, or something? Like DH is trying to save a paycheck or something. May I remind DH that no one has been arrested, including the shooter. He probably paid the shooter!

Amnd64 was to legalize and legitimize Mmj and take it out of the back alleys, and then High Times holds their event in an "Alley". How about next year at the CO Convention Center and be legitimate?

*** Bar Owner Allowing Pot Use Faces Crackdown ***

Jeff Call knew he was pushing the envelope when he started letting people use marijuana at his rum-and-pizza joint in Tacoma.

But he didn't quite know the extent of what he was in for: the governor's office demanding state regulators do something about it, local authorities revoking his business license, and his insurance company dropping his liability policy — developments that threaten to sink his 3-year-old establishment even as he vows to fight them.

"The screws are coming down from all over," says Call, owner of Stonegate Pizza.

Soon after an Associated Press story featured Call's bar this month, Gov. Jay Inslee's staff instructed the state's Liquor Control Board, which is devising rules for the new marijuana industry, to do something about it. The board responded by announcing that it would draft rules to require establishments with liquor licenses to ban marijuana use on site. Officials are concerned about people mixing marijuana and alcohol, especially if they're going to be driving home.

Inslee spokesman David Postman also said it's important to crack down on such establishments to demonstrate to other states, as well as the U.S. Justice Department, that Washington is implementing its new law responsibly.

"The law is clear on the prohibition on the consumption of marijuana in public," Postman said. "From what the Liquor Control Board tells us, that's exactly what this is."

The governor wasn't the only one concerned.

Tacoma officials sent a letter on April 9 revoking Call's business license for violating the city's nuisance ordinance, which bans marijuana gardens, dispensaries and "any place other than a private residence where cannabis is smoked or ingested."

@DonkeyHotay Nothing like some more ammo to defeat the "Stoners are not violent" argument. I grew up in the gangster pot generation. It CREATES violence. Ask anyone in jail for violent crime. "Would you have done it if you werent high?" "Probably not"

@Testecleese "smell the freedom"

LOL! ... the "freedom" to still get arrested and go to jail for violating the PROHIBITIONS contained in A64!

@Testecleese ... I rode the Carousel of Happiness twice ... felt only mild temporary euphoria.

Nederland: On March 24, a man reported he had been receiving threatening text messages from someone he knew. The man said the calls began earlier in the day and he did not recognize the telephone number. He said that the man accused him of owing him money and said he thought it was about marijuana.

The man said he used marijuana medicinally for anxiety attacks. He said the messages made him concerned for his safety.  As the officer talked to the man, his cell phone rang and it was the suspect.

The officer answered the call, saying he was the alleged victim and asked why the suspect thought money was owed. The suspect said if was $175 for marijuana.
The officer asked the suspect to meet ‘at my house.” The man said he wanted the officer to go to him. They agreed to meet in Nederland the next day. The suspect hung up, saying “Peace, brother.”

The officer told the reporting man to call Boulder County dispatch if he gets a message from the suspect. The man said it is likely the suspect will have drugs in his vehicle.

The officer suspects the ‘victim’ is afraid because he crossed a drug deal by not paying. The text messages will be examined to see if they meet the requirements of the harassment statute. If probable cause exists, he will be charged. The case status is open.
