Evan Ebel hit-list reference, "Bring on the f*ck letters" punctuated with a swastika

Big photos, video below.
The more we learn about Evan Ebel, the man thought to have murdered pizza-delivery man Nathan Leon and Colorado prison boss Tom Clements, the more disturbing is the portrait he left behind after taking a bullet in the head at the end of a Texas police chase.

Now, a letter has surfaced (see it below) in which a reference to a possible post-prison hit list is accompanied by the evil smiley face to the right and a post-script features an exclamation point with a swastika in the place of the dot.

We've shared reports about Ebel's alleged affiliation with the 211 prison crew, known as a white-supremacist organization, as well as his prison records, which feature reports about guard-punching and feces-smearing.

Likewise, we've noted that a clerical error resulted in Ebel's early release -- a botch that incenses Katie Leon, Nathan Leon's widow, and the mother of four-year-old twins who'll now grow up without a father.

Now, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office has put out an alert for two other white-supremacy-related associates of Ebel: James Lohr, 47, and Thomas Guolee, 31. No photo of Lohr has been circulated thus far, but here's a look at Guolee:

Thomas Guolee.
Guolee, aka "Ghost," and Lohr, known as "Jimbo," haven't been named suspects in the murder. But they're thought to have been in telephone contact with Ebel in the 24-36 hours prior to Clements's slaying.

According to 7News, Guolee's rap sheet includes witness intimidation, while Lohr is wanted for a Las Animas County bail violation and defying a protection order. Possible locales for the pair include Nevada and Texas.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis, who allegedly founded the 211 crew after earning a thirty-year robbery sentence, was handed a 108-year jolt for his activities in prison. Here's two looks at Davis:

Did Davis's tutelage turn Ebel into a killer? That's among the questions presumably being explored as part of the ongoing investigation. But in a 2006 letter obtained by 7News, he certainly comes across as a hyper-violent sociopath with a decided white-supremacist streak. As evidence, eyeball the letter's post-script:

This is not the time to be discussing it _ when there are major problems it never is. It does seem possible the brutal treatment some prisoners receive turns them into monsters. And when they get out they will seek vengeance. I do not mean by any stretch to justify what they have done. It would be wise to make sure we don't make bad guys even worse.

THIS IS COMPLETE SPECULATION, PEOPLE !!!

They are reaching FOR EFFECT !!!

The 'Crips' & 'Bloods' were the two actually monitored gangs in C.D.O.C. The 211's came WAY late & were ALL nearly placed in Administrative Segregation before their heads were completely shaven . They were a joke amongst the dept's gang investigators .

Um, they are NOT anymore but I would be SHOCKED if we heard ANYTHING that wasn't drummed up for publicity & effect ......

Just in from LA. Driver who killed five in van in Vegas had escaped from LA Detention Center. Makes you wonder if these guys should spend less time brutalizing prisoners and more time making sure are not planning revenge missions or escapes.

Did it really take five days for it to be detected that Ebel had disabled his monitor? And how about those notes from his dad about how well he was doing? As I said when this first broke, it was clear he had not served his entire sentence. Clerical error indeed.

@Mozart99 They don't exactly get sent to prison for being teddy bears in the first place mozart, and most are monsters long before the C/O's get ahold of them. It's more likely that  the guards trigger a sense of rage in them for not paying them the respect or attention they feel entitled to being the sociopathic halfwits that they are.

@Juan_Leg Well put Juan, and I agree, a lot of this is media sensationalism. 211 is a relatively small, and disorganized group with a few rogue psychopaths in it who feel the need to exact revenge. It does society no favors making them seem like Big Bad gangsters who are cunningly evading the police, and making a mockery out of the justice system. (though the justice system tends to do that well enough itself these days.) I say: "Speak it how it is." A group of childish psychos are trying to make a name for themselves by attacking people who angered them, or seem to be interfering with their gang-related activities.

@Mozart99  Doh! Juvenile detention isn't state prison! Talk about a sensationalist.

@Mozart99 ... so an extra 4 years in solitary torture would have reformed this prisoner into a peaceful model citizen, eh?

@iustitia_est_monstru   I wish there were more like us that knew what the hell they were talking about & NOT 'fishing' in an attempt to cause more unnecessary public panic ...

@DonkeyHotay @Mozart99 I never said anything like that. If he had been in prison Tom Clements and Nathan Leon would still be alive.

@Mozart99 @DonkeyHotay No kidding. Donkey obviously misses the entire point that Ebel didn't do the time he was SUPPOSED to do because of a clerical error. And nobody should take the word of a PRISONER alone about the treatment of incarcerated individuals there. There needs to be some kind of outside investigation so there would be an objective analysis performed of the Prisons' activities.
