Video: North Korea clip threatening to nuke Colorado Springs puts city closer to Texas

Video below.
Last week's Off Limits column noted that North Korea's threats of nuking the United States initially omitted Colorado from its target list. Now, however, a video on Uriminzokkiri, a North Korea government Web site, puts Colorado Springs in the cross-hairs -- sort of. As 7News notes, the clip mentions the Springs, but the location is shown as somewhere around east Texas or west Louisiana. Close, but no exploding nuclear cigar.

Experience the terror/hilarity below. The key section is around the one minute, twenty second mark.

Released right before the Boston Marathon, shows first strike against the east coast, second explosion in east Texas, accompanied by 70's rock music. Can you think of a 70's rock band named after a city? Boston.

I'm sure if these dicks can build a rocket with a nuke on it, they can read a GPS.

Oh, and Westword, if you're going to provide the whole  bleedin' 4:14 of Korean video, you could mix in some subtitles. That, or you could share the funny bit. After all, it's all Korean to me.

@Scott Mourer Apparently, they can do neither. My guess is people in Seoul could do more damage to the north leaning out of skyscrapers with pea shooters.

@Cognitive_Dissident In their defense, the poor suckers charged with making the propaganda video may have had to face a firing squad if they didn't meet certain deadlines, and I believe their access to Google Maps (or any source of information) is severely restricted. They probably watch Red Dawn to study our fighting tactics.  In any case, I'm not too worried about it.

You know, I should have, but never did. My favorite work on the topic: The film Testament. It's "a laugh a minute" (no, not really.)

Freedom ain't nuclear war. Don't get too fried because of your government.
