Big photos below.
This month, the FBI released a report with the laborious title "Preliminary Annual Uniform Crime Report, January-December, 2012" -- and the long name is appropriate, since it contains a staggering amount of data about all reporting U.S. cities with a population of 100,000 or greater. For Colorado, that means ten communities, and in many of them, the news was good, with numbers for murder, forcible rape, etc., going down from 2011 more often than not. But there are definitely exceptions. Continue to see the photo-illustrated figures for your hometown, or one near you.

Don't wish to look at the reports (stats). It's been up in all the cities for yrs., now, whether reported or not.

Nice Photoshop hack job on the Denver photo. Shows the journalistic integrity.

The crime statistics as reported by Denver to the FBI are flawed. They admitted such several days ago. It's hard to make a comparison when the numbers are greatly understated.
