Camera phones are now so prevalent that when something happens, there's a good chance it'll be captured from multiple angles. That was the case in a spectacular car explosion in Colorado Springs yesterday. A vehicle, rear-ended near Highway 115 and Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, was already aflame when a secondary blast from oxygen canisters in the trunk erupted, causing one videographer to proclaim, "That was fricking insane," as if censoring himself for when the footage ran on the news. And that's just video number one. See both below.

Here's the fricking insane snippet, shot by Jacob Curnow and shared by 7News. Things get even more fiery in the opening seconds:

And here's the same sequence of events as captured by a YouTube user who goes by ThatOneMusicGuy79. The second explosion takes place just after the 45 second mark:

And now, just as you'd expect, here's a video that cuts both sequences together:

The fallout? 7News reports that Joshua Morgan, driver of the vehicle that did the rear-ending, was busted on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, while the man in the car ahead of him is said to have broken a vertabrae as a result of being slammed. However, none of the emergency personnel responding to the scene were hurt.
