Reader: Flooding prophecy adds up to an I-told-you-so

harvest.army.205x205.jpg
Yesterday, we posted about Harvest Army, a ministry that claims it predicted Colorado flooding days ahead of time and sees it as evidence people need to repent. Dozens of commenters responded, not always positively. Here's an example of someone who would have appreciated more of a heads-up.

Latifah Abdul'laah writes:

If he did predict this, doesn't he have a Godly duty to have warned Colorado? I told you so doesn't help anyone.

"preachers" said the same bullshit when Hurricane Katrina hit-that it was "gods way of warning us" or god was punishing the drunks and open sexual relationships. its crap. and if that preacher wanted to turn people to their "god" maybe they should have set up ministry relief stations or actually try to help VS just sitting on his high and mighty pedestal passing out judgement.

If you are hearing "messages from god", then you need psychiatric treatment and serious medications

Oy vay...if they knew it was going to happen, why didn't they prevent it ;) Seriously though, the less attention we give to the whack jobs like this and the more we give toward helping our neighbors all around Colorado clean up, rebuild, etc, the better all of our lives would be. Positive actions!

What no one seems to be talking about is that the entire swath of land West of Boulder clear through rocky mountain Park will be abandoned and only inhabited by government. Fema, National Guard, "homeland security" Hmmm. After Katrina these agencies built bases and infrastructure throughout Louisiana. They never left and won't leave here either.

@Wendy Dennie That's one way to look at it. Thanks for the post, Wendy.
