In researching this week's feature article about the life and death of cannabis activist Jenny Kush, a lot of people we spoke with emphasized that she was also quite the artist in addition to the long list of other hats she wore -- including the host of SexPot Radio.

iCannabisRadio co-owner Georgia Edson mentioned that she has landscapes of Kush's in her home, and many others have rallied around a simple little angel line drawing of Kush's since her passing. See ten examples of her artistry below.

It's a shame. But I get the impression the average westword reader wasn't smitten by her as much as the author. Is she supposed to be some martyr? Why not give a cover article to... say.. Randy Herndon...

Randy Herndon was not a cannabis freedom fighter killed by a drunk driver. His story would be appropriate for a cycling magazine, not The Westword. You are quite erroneous with your statement about the average reader of The Westword.

@NickatNight Jenny WAS a martyr!  These stories on Jenny's life are completely worth putting out there!  A hero's life is always worth sharing.

@pinkaudralee Westword covers cycling issues pretty regularly and has done cover stories on the topic.
