The Broncos' 45-21 win over Washington Sunday wasn't the laugher the score implies. Denver trailed 21-7 in the third quarter before reeling off 38 points -- an onslaught Broncos coach turned Washington head man Mike Shanahan apparently (read: definitely) tried to slow by having players fake injuries. Fans at the stadium responded by booing and/or decrying the scheme on Twitter, with viewers at home weighing in, too. HAHAHAHA, as if the Broncos offense is the second coming of the run and shoot.  Quit whining Broncos fans and take the win.  Or you can join the douchedom presently inhabited by Patriots and Jets fans.

The equipment has gotten better over the past twenty years but the game has been wussified in the same span. Within 5 years I predict that it will be the NTFL, National Touch Football League. Doesn't matter either way; Real men play hockey.

I think they were, like G he was hurt but was able to hop off the table to play right away, but there is no way to know for sure, so if a player was injure I agree, then they shouldn't re enter the game

This is American football not soccer! Just play the game!

The solution to this is simple...if a player causes stoppage of the game due to an injury, real or not, they cannot re-enter the game during the current possession.

If someone says they're injured, for real or not, you can't question it. The risk is too great. They just have to deal with it. What if someone is having a heart attack? It's happened before. You just have to side with safety.

@Jeremy Kane at Brokers Guild Real Estate Creating a rule to prevent fake injuries would definitely be tricky. Thanks for posting, Jeremy.

@Peter Navarro Oh, sure. Von Miller, Kevin Vickerson, Wesley Woodyard et al are just a bunch of cowards and wimps compared to you big tough hockey players! Ha. Note: Crack is an extremely addictive drug.

@Ric Cabot Podmore Interesting suggestion, Ric. We're going to feature it in an upcoming Comment of the Day. Thanks.
