On Monday, we shared the top twenty tweets spawned by ex-Denver coach Mike Shanahan's Washington Redskins allegedly faking injuries in an attempt to slow down the Broncos.

Some readers felt nothing could do to prevent such a scheme -- but one floated a possible solution.

The solution to this is simple...if a player causes stoppage of the game due to an injury, real or not, they cannot re-enter the game during the current possession.

Yes. It makes a huge difference when you have a quarterback that runs the no huddel offense. They were trying to slow down Manning by faking injuries in order to stop the flow of the game. Thats wrong. Not a stupid question.
