Reader: The genie is out of the bong

Yesterday's decision by the Denver City Council to reverse course on a front-porch marijuana smoking ban caught a lot of folks by surprise, including many of our commenters. Nonetheless, most were happy with the flip, including this reader, who punctuates his point with creative misspelling.

David Martin writes:

The Genie is out of the bong. Wasting the precious resources on a frivolous ordinance seems ridiculous but our politicians never cease to amaze me. Let's focus on things that are impotant. Spelling error was deliberate.

Way tooooo bad that smokers of anything aren't empathetic enough to recognize the stink and annoyance. Like every other substance use and possible abuse it's selfish self center disregard that causes concern. Either way there are going to be a ton of driving while impaired folks sentenced. Really 5ng bwahahahaha

I prefer back door bong action -- my front porch isn't what it used to be.

@stuka1 I like little boys myself, that's why I'm always moaning (haha) about the under 21 crowd not being able to legally purchase and smoke it.
