What's everyone's fucking obsession to be #1 all the time? Infantile obsessions.

Hard for me to believe we ever were. As a trainer, I see way to many unfit people

Good point, Tim. It's just what I've read in the press and heard from some folks I know. Granted, I moved to Japan right before it became legal (damn it!!). I'm interested to see how it looks when I visit in December!

nah potheads in their home states still get pot cheaper than it is priced and taxed here, why would they bother? It's the growers moving here looking to cash in, your casual smoker could really give two shits.

Both of these statements are irrelevant to my point. But thank you for the unnecessary American history lesson. :-)

prolly all the fat drunks moving into our "it's ok to get piss ur pants wasted" society of shitty craft beer makers. lol

Dropping from #1 doesn't mean everyone is fat. It means like, two really really fat people showed up and ruined it.

The whole "natives" thing is ridiculous. People feel more important because they grew up here. News flash: you didn't choose to be born here, your parents made that choice. Stop walking around all high and mighty, like you are something special. Get over it!

0.8 percent margin with a 5 fold population difference. Oh statistics, you ruin everything.

Right because pot smokers are lazy, like all drunks are woman beaters.

I see more fat people than slim people. Maybe they just stand out more, idk. Hehe

Not at all. It's mite have something to do with all the people moving to this state.

A bunch of pot heads from other states moved to CO after the legalization of marijuana. So, yeah, I believe it. But they're not natives.

Well me I have lost 5 pounds this month (only weighing between 125-130) that's a LOT

1 out of 5 people is obese in CO and we're 2nd in the nation? That says a lot about our nation's health.

Recent studies indicate cannabis is actually good for the metabolism... freaky, right?

Ed Haas

It's all the calories from craft beer. Which is so bullshit. Why can't my tasty barrel aged stout be only a hundred calories instead of equalling that of 3 Big Macs....

Scotty Walker

i blame the abundance of delicious beer more than weed. not a native but lived here 4 years and have put on 10 lbs in the last 2.

Stu Balch

It's all of the day potheads that moved to Colorado for weed and to eat donuts

Oh BS! I see a hell of a lot of obese natives. And there is no less "crap-food" in the stores here than there is anywhere else in the country..... That is being pushed on the population. You are going to see a lot of obese Colorado people come next Spring, after this coming Winter.

Naomi Wolinsky
Naomi Wolinsky

I do not think the health of the natives has changed. I imagine that if Obesity is on the rise, perhaps it might be in part due to those who have moved here from elsewhere and are not acclimated to our outdoor lifestyle.

Zach Carsel

It is because obese people are moving here so they can sit on their ass and smoke pot.

A lot less people in Montana so easier to be number 1
