Photos: Do you recognize the happy idiots ripping off a marijuana grow house?

Big photos below.
Over the years, we've written plenty about morons who burglarize marijuana businesses, even though cash and product is tough to come by and first-rate security systems are required by law. Witness the 2012 break-in that netted a broken scale and $8 from the karma jar or the 2013 incident during which a guy shattered a dispensary window with a water jug and got away with nothing.

The twosome that ransacked the Chronic Therapy grow house on North Claude Court did a little better for themselves. But they were also caught on camera smiling hazily as they made off with an estimated $12,500 worth of plants. Get details and see more photos below.

According to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, the incident took place at 12:59 a.m. on April 23.

Given that their target was a grow house, the suspects presumably understood that they wouldn't find finished marijuana on hand. As a result, they can be seen grabbing plants.

Did they realize that such plants require a blend of expertise and tender loving care if they're to remain alive and flourishing? Or that cultivation calls for plenty of skill as well? Hard to say -- but their decision not to bother disguising themselves despite the presence of surveillance devices doesn't speak to their wisdom.

If you recognize either of these lugs, you're encouraged to phone Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered in the case.

In the meantime, here's a full-size view of the post's first image.

Pot and crime go hand in hand.

Nobody is safe living near a drug grow.

Yeah look at that node spacing and stretch. Let me give my 2 cents on an unknown strain with no knowledge of the pheno. And it looks over watered. With a touch of too much phosphorous and mag. I is so smrt

Too much nitrogen, and not enough light. Probably because they are all packed so close together. They are stretching tall and thin to get to the available light.

Bradley Crable & Clayton Capra you guys dont know shit. Look at that node spacing and the amount of stretch in the plant and in the leaves. Those nugs are small AF. I dont care what "phase" (nobody days that dumb shit) there in with that amount of stretch there going to be super airy and fluffy and not produce for shit. Y'all 2 couldn't grow a ripe tomatoe. GTFOH

Violeta Luz because everybody in colorado is allowed to grow weed in their own residence now? Anyone with an mmj card has been able to do that for a long time now....

How is it legal for dispenseries to grow in houses? Unless of course you mean warehouse.

If we were on an episode of CSI. Cops aren't going waste their resources on that.

Plants look fine for the phase they were likely in. So many backseat qb's.

Is that a cell phone in one of the pics?

Competent cops could isolate the time and cell tower traffic, determine both the # and whom he was talking to ... along with a general escape route and current general locations of both phones.

... because Felony Burglary and Grand Theft are low priority crimes, eh?

Aren't you stoners always yammering for the cops to leave you alone and go after REAL CRIMINALS ??

these plants are stringy and shitty.

@DonkeyHotay Not in that short of a time span. You watch too much csi etc etc.

You also falsely assume that a police department would allocate that many resources for such a crime.

I would love to hear your explanation of 'general locations' and how that would help law enforcement, assuming your example.

@doodydoody  ... Clayton supports and patronizes the Greedy Big $$ Dispensary Cartels and their overpriced, overtaxed, over-regulated warehouse schwag.

@Guy210213 ... nonsense.

The DPD had and used the cell tower tracking technology to locate and apprehend a notorious serial rapist -- Brent Brents -- over 9 years ago, back in 2005.

They followed the cell tower pings from the kidnapped victim's phone as he made his way west up 1-70 and caught him before he got away.

New BIG-DATA collection and parsing algorithms are massively more efficient. It's trivially easy for those who have access to the data -- Telco's, Law Enforcement, etc -- to extract the relevant patterns.

@DonkeyHotay

Sure stinky, sure.  Was that an attempt at deflection?

Perhaps you should concern yourself with your illiteracy and ignorance before attempting to point your stinky little finger at others, especially those that are quite clearly superior to you.

@fishingblues @DonkeyHotay Hairless, you forgot to mention TOPICALITY.  You are seldom on topic.

Hopefully the thieves will be caught like fishingforyounghairlessboys just got caught offering a lesson he is incompetent to
"teach."  I see it more as radical right wing whining.

LOL! ...

English lessons from an illiterate imbecile who didn't know the difference between "believes" and "beliefs" and habitually illustrated his abject ignorance by failing at such rudimentary grammatical constructs.

You = Epic Failure!

@DonkeyHotay  Here we are in English class again stinky.

Redundant -- Needlessly wordy or repetitive in expression

Example:  over 9 years ago, back in 2005.

Example:  "trivially easy"  It is not only redundant as stated, it makes no sense.  What does trivial have to do with how easy it is?

Glad I could be here for you stinky.  You embarrass yourself sometimes (well, actually quite often).
