Top ten states with the most and least people who'd leave if they could: Suck it, New Jersey

Photos and more below.
Last month, we posted about the top eight ways Colorado kicks the sh*t out of New Jersey based on surveys compiled by Governor John Hickenlooper's office in which our fair state crushed NJ after the latter's guv, Chris Christie, made negative comments about the impact of the local marijuana industry.

Here's another indication that Colorado is a more attractive place to live than NJ: a new Gallup poll ranking states by how many people would move away if they could. Continue for two lists, with the first focusing on the ten states with the most residents who'd like to split and the second listing the ten with the smallest number of possible movers -- and as you'll see, there's a lot more satisfaction among Coloradans than New Jerseyites. Check out the results below.

States where the most residents would leave if they could:

Number 10: Mississippi

Number that would leave: 39 percent

Number 9: Louisiana

Number 8: Massachusetts

Number 7: New York

Continue to keep counting down the states with the most and least people who'd leave if they could.

Colorado needs to fix their shitty gun laws, but other than that it falls on the "less shitty" end of the spectrum.

Yes. This state is nothing but overpriced housing for no reason at all. Get 2x to 3x the house for cheaper in the Midwest or the South.

We moved from Denver to Key Largo about 14 years ago. I miss the sharp season changes, and cold dry air, and snow, and the mountains. I thought I wanted a change of scenery after 40 some years in Denver. I love the blue ocean and warm water, but if I could move back into the mountains again (no more cities) I would have to do some serious thinking.

I left Colorado. Between the dummies smoking their weed and the anti-gun movement, send Colorado back to the Californians.

No reason to move out of New Hampshire. If you really NEED something in Massachusetts, you can drive down there and get back the same day.

The bun fight between Colorado and New Jersey is nonsense and people in Portland are laughing.

Moved to Colorado in 2007, best move I ever made. Mom is sick now, so I just moved back to Texas...I really didn't want to. Colorado is my forever home and I will go back someday.
