Last September, we shared Kiplinger's list of the ten best cities for young graduates. But a new roster by SmartAsset is even more specific. The site shares its picks for the best (and worst) college towns to live in for new grads or just folks looking for a fresh start -- and two Colorado places made the positive side of the cut, with one doing very well indeed.

Continue to count down the photo-illustrated best college towns top ten, featuring excerpts from SmartAsset text, plus a graphic and details about how the roster was assembled -- and click to check out the original post.

disappointingly, the folks there don't use wood chippers as often as we'd like

Fargo, Ha! What a joke. Obviously you haven't spent time there.

Fort Collins is just fine to go to college at but get out after that. It is career suicide to stay. Or you could just go to college in Boulder or Denver.

Fort Collins and Boulder are both full of egotistical mouth breathers who have no business being at a university. Just sayin

Love Fort Collins. Boulder makes me want to throw up in my mouth. Denver should have been mentioned instead of that awful place.

Boulder #1 in Where to Live, #1 in Foodie Restaurants, #1 Healthiest, #1 Happiest ... what hasn't Boulder won?

I'm sorry, no Denver? No New Orleans? no New York City? But Fargo made the list?!?

I think this is overly scewed towards Boulder since discretionary income is only controlled by the average price of a 2br apartment and doesn't account fully for how much more expensive living in Colorado is, especially that town.

^Is that why so many of my friends in Boulder are from Austin? ;)

This is the exact reason I just left after being there for 6 months.  The cost of living in Colorado is completely understated!  Its not freaking New York for crying out loud.  I made 70k salary and was living check to check.   So happy I left that place.
