Reader: Pot edibles hater Maureen Dowd should stick with what she knows -- booze and pills
Our recent post about New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd's bad experience with pot edibles, which she suggested be stamped with a skull and bones (maybe a joke, maybe not), got a lot of folks talking. Here's a comment from a reader who thinks Dowd may be better off using substances that are more familiar to her in the future.
Shari Walsh writes:
Edibles are an alternate way to consume marijuana. On the ones I have purchased, there is an advisory to wait one to two hours for the effects. There is also a guide on what one portion is and the dosage of THC in it. I can read. It seems pretty simple to me. Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker. Maybe she just stick to what she knows...alcohol and prescription drugs.
