Upon their arrival, officers found a man who'd been shot in the chest and in dire condition. He was rushed to Littleton Adventist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
He's described as a five-foot-ten-inch white male weighing in the vicinity of 200 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.
This last line tends to be used when cops have a very good idea who pulled the trigger. Nonetheless, neighbors near the address where the killing took place were originally warned to stay inside their homes and the suspect remains at large as of this writing.
