Broncos games. They are an assault on the senses, from the blaring "music" and commercials to the drunken, obnoxious fans, revolting bathrooms and awful food, being there is dreadful. Having to walk by vendor stands featuring profane T-shirts and other less-than-authorized merchandise is a classy touch.

So, two guys in the front of your section feel the need to stand up for every three-yards-and-a cloud-of-dust play...forcing the whole section to stand if they want to see the action...no problem. Yeah, paying through the nose to be one in a herd of thousands packed into the diaphragm gets you into one of the worst places in Denver... .

Watch at home. And after a drunken brawl by Rockies fans I witnessed leaving work I'm avoiding Coors field too...

I'd rather watch at home or a neighborhood sports bar if it's too cold to hike or not enough snow to ski. It's on the radio so I'd rather be doing something active than sitting on my butt.

whosdp did not grow up a Broncos fan, actually, probably not even a sports fan

Doesn't matter. Unless it's cold. Then home/bar is the best.

Well to each their own, but I love going to the games. He can pass any tickets he receives on to me!!

The cheep seats are pretty obnoxious, but if you can get down in the lower levels, it's really cool to be at the game. I like my couch, too.

Sick and tired of people bitching about Broncos games because fans stand up n cheer loudly and have passion for the team! If you want to sit down, relax and watch a horrible team, go to Coors Field!  It's not a country club and it's not supposed to be pristine and elegant.  Do us all a favor and sit at home on your comfy couches and 60 inch TV's and let the real fans who have passion for the team enjoy the games.

For a stadium that sells out every game that is expected.

There is nothing better then being at the game. Haven't missed a game in two years and I also work them on a pedicab. This person has no idea.

Can't get a d.u.i. from couch to the fridge..... and no line to pee.. Our bowl and beer for all family and friends wouldn't cost 1/4 of what it takes to watch there. ..

I grew up in Denver as a kid Broncos games were fun. Now its a cluster fcuk and I would rather watch Nba and hockey. Becuase the fans allow you to.watch the games and rhe ushers don't let people sit in the middle of the play. No interruption. Nfl is a big money monoploy they took.the fun out.

I wish more people would move out of Colorado and never come back. Too many little bitches in this state. It's football people, not bitch ass golf.. we don't need gourmet food and exquisite bathrooms. I see it all the time, people sitting down not watching the game taking selfies to post on facebook so people know they were there, then they leave before half time. Fuck those ass holes! I guess I like this article, but only because it helps weed out the fake ass Broncos fans!

Even worse if your first experience includes sitting in the north or, god forbid, the south stands.

Begin long comment: "Broncos games. They are an assault on the senses.." "...being there is dreadful." Some might argue that the sounds, smells, vendors and crowds are what makes the fact that Football season is in full swing, well, REAL! "So, two guys in the front of your section feel the need to stand up for every three-yards-and-a cloud-of-dust play...forcing the whole section to stand if they want to see the action...no problem." Well why say no problem if you had a problem? This is a rhetorical question so please don't reply. Football Gods forbid that you sit behind "two guys" who sound like awesome die-hard fans to me! What if I told you the other people didn't stand so they could see around the two guys in front of you...but because they are die-hard fans too?? I could be wrong, I wasn't there. "Yeah, paying through the nose to be one in a herd of thousands packed into the diaphragm gets you into one of the worst places in Denver...". Okay Poindexter, we get it, your experience was in your top three most hated life experiences, like EVER. You were just ONE in a "herd" of thousands at said Broncos game, and it seems to me you were not happy with the price you paid for your tickets right from the start. That in itself set the mood for your whole experience at the game. Your experience was one in thousands. Next time try texting guest relations to see if you can be moved to a quieter section away from those "two guys" who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Or better yet save the money you spent on Football game tickets and make yourself a little man/woman cave where you can be by yourself and not annoyed with the entire atmosphere that is a Broncos game. I'm not sure if you noticed or not but Denver is a "sports crazy" city! We bleed Orange and Blue during Broncos season and we bleed Burgundy and Blue during Avalanche Hockey season too! It sucks you had a bad experience but having a poor attitude didn't help. Just my two cents.

Just like everything in CO, Bronco games have been ruined. A friend if mine has had season tix since 1960, he is on 'probation' for using "the F word" too much. The cops removed him from the game and lectured him ! What a joke

It would seem like whosdp, does not like football or going to a game. Clearly there is a sort of malevolent animosity here with anything that has to do with fun times and community spirit.  The guy should just chill out .

I will fill the seat for any game that someone else doesn't want to go too. At least when they were a middle team I could afford to go.

Katie Leigh

lol. God forbid you have to stand up at a football game and cheer for your team....... This post is just silly. And furthermore, Matt pyles, did you buy tickets together, or where u in someone else's seat when they wanted you to move? Bc, it doesn't matter if they came in for the last 5 minutes, those are still their seats.

I would love to watch the game at the stadium but now that they've doubled the price of the tickets I'll stay home or go to a bar. Look at the Broncos ticket prices when they play at home versus when they're away you'll be shocked.

Also, those of you who have a problem with Denver or Colorado are more than welcome to leave. Colorado is a beautiful place and we don't need negative people impacting this positive aura and energy. Make room for real Coloradans

Ill take pepsi center any day. Easy to park easy to.get to seats easy to get food and drinks. Broncos game was the biggest waste of money. And you freeze your ass off too. And deal with trashy fans. Ooh not to mention its in the worst neighborhood in.Denver lock.up.your car. Or watch your back walking.

Matt Pyles

I agree! I went to one game, it was crappy. My wife and I wanted to sit together, people got all butt-hurt we sat 2 seats from our "assigned seats". It was a terrible experience. The person wanting me to move missed the first half, showed up and demanded I move. F'n dumb!!

If I have enough expendable cash to afford tickets to a Broncos game, I'd end up calling some friends, buying a case of beer, quarter of bud and watch it at home.
