Hard to believe, but it's only been a little more than thirteen months since Tim Tebow was traded by the Broncos to the New York Jets -- and an unlucky thirteen it's been. Tebow went from being the talk of the NFL thanks to his series of miracle victories for the Broncos to a high-profile splinter-collector.

Now, Tebow has been cut by the Jets, prompting a whole new round of web ribbing from online memers. Check out a sampling of the images below while you feel lucky that Timmy is no longer Denver's problem.

At the New York Jets' Tim Tebow-introduction press conference yesterday, The Chosen One made it clear he was excited. Oh man, did he ever. Someone with plenty of time on his hands has created a clip documenting how many times Timmy used variations on the word "excited" during the event. The total? A jaw-slackening 45, as shown in the hilariously exciting video-montage on view below.

If you weren't amused by Jimmy Fallon's Tebowie skit the first time around, tough luck -- because you're about to see a lot more of it. Even before The Chosen One was traded to the Jets, Fallon reprised the gag to reflect the Broncos' Peyton Manning signing, complete with lyrics such as "Tebow got screwed in the back door/Now he's a virgin no more." See it below alongside a bonus clip from Countdown with Keith Olbermann, in which the host discusses the reasons the Tebow-to-NYC deal nearly collapsed.
