Three To Ski: It's snowing this weekend. Where will you be?

Each weekend, we'll tell you the which mountains most deserve your attention. We're up to six resorts open now, and most of them offer top-to-bottom skiing at this point. Still, after that massive storm a couple of weeks ago, the weather has been decidedly uncooperative.

1. Breckenridge The heavy hitters are starting to get this lifts turning. Last week, we saw Keystone and Copper open, and this week Breckenridge started things up. You already missed free pancakes this morning at the lodge, but the festivities continue tomorrow with Craig Robinson (aka Darryl from The Office) doing a show. As for the actual mountain, Breck is starting out with five lifts and four runs covering 108 acres of ground, which is just enough for most skiable terrain in the north half of the state at this point.

2. Wolf Creek Things might be a bit choppy at Wolf Creek, as they don't have quite the snowmaking capabilities of some of the larger resorts. But they do have 25 trails open right now, which is more than double what you'll find anywhere else.

3. Copper Nothing much in the way of progress on the mountain this week, but they were doing alright on that front last we checked , and this weekend through the 20th is ladies night at Woodward -- the resort's 19,400 square foot indoor terrain park training grounds. Ladies get half off the 6-8pm sessions.
