After 34 years spent advocating for and supporting Denver's GLBT community, The Center has a home of its own. The nonprofit, which sponsors Denver's annual PrideFest celebration, has moved to fancy new digs on the corner of Colfax and Lafayette -- and Westword got a tour of the new building (complete with a rooftop deck with a mountain view!) yesterday at a VIP celebration for donors.

The general public -- that's anyone and everyone! -- is welcome to drop by today from 3 to 8 p.m. for The Center's grand opening.

But we wanted to offer you a sneak peek. In the words of Carlos Martinez, The Center's executive director: "This building represents unity, strength and power within our community. The community really rallied behind this project."
