The modern furniture design company Knoll has its own museum in East Greenville, Pennsylvania; a traveling design show that originated there, The Furniture of Eero Saarinen: Designs for Everyday Living, will now make its way into Denver's mid-century wonderland, the Kirkland Museum, opening tomorrow for a run through the end of November. Though the Kirkland is adding its own facets to the show, its backbone is a series of chairs the fĂȘted Finnish architect designed for Knoll some fifty years ago, all of which remain bold and fresh to this day. What follows is a preview of said chairs.
