The glamorous life of a 21st-century cartoonist: a meta-comic about signing comics

• Join the crowd guys... you're not alone. Every so often, I'll get a giddy fan, but those are definitely the minority, and most of my signings are just like that one you just drew about.

• I feel your pain. Years from now all those ignorant bastids' will be punching themselves in the head,bemoaning the fact they passed up the chance to talk to two geniuses of the comic scene... now me on the other hand, MILLIONS would stand in line to get a chance to meet me..I suggest next time , some sassy little plaid skirts, poofy hair, and massive boobs jutting out of your skimpy tops...that always seems to do the trick!

• Oh shit! You mean the signing was on Friday? Sorry me and my rich-hot-single-ladies book club missed it. All 13 of us showed up on Saturday, but there was nothing cool to buy, so we just left piles of money on that table you were using. Cause you know. We're so rich it becomes a burden. Maybe it's still there?

• Awesome comic. I've never had a table, always freaked out by the idea that what happened to you would happen to me. But it made for a good cartoon, and now I know to not be jelous of you. good job.

• "This Comic is a Nickel." Hilarious! I set up at an art show in Cincinnati on Saturday. I made $8. Parking was $5, so I came out $3 ahead!
