If you can still stand sideways after riding in the powder all day at Copper Mountain today, stick around for the Grand Slam Bowl Jam skateboard contest in The Barn at Woodward at Copper tonight at 6 p.m. (registration and practice starts at 5 p.m.)
There's a $10 cash entry fee, and prizes from snowboarder JJ Thomas' apparel brand YEA.NICE, Quiksliver, Optic Nerve, Chipotle and more. With most of the top snowboarding pros in town for the Visa U.S. Halfpipe Grand Prix, you never know who you might end up skating against. Can't make it up tonight? Skateboard sessions in The Barn run $4.99 for two hours or $9.99 for a full day pass, with season passes going for $99.99.
