But Talulah Jones shop owner Robin Lohre is doing more than that: This month, Lohre will host a reception showcasing a different local artisan every night through Christmas Eve. Colorado native Megan Jamison is into flowers, but her former stint as a pastry chef most likely informs her hand-dyed fabric flower pins, as well: They are, without a doubt, as sweet as any frosting rose that ever adorned a cupcake. Everyone, she opines, should wear a flower, and after taking a look at these, we agree. And just in time for coat weather!

Molli Yoder, Skylark360

Boulderite Molli Yoder has a degree in environmental design from The Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design and is now studying Speech Communications at Metro, but that doesn't stop her from creating jewelry inspired by her travels to Florence and Murano in Italy. Her asymmetrical Skylark360 creations feature lovely vintage and glass beads and precious stones hung from delicate chain link; to wear one is to make a one-of-a-kind statement.

Elementary school music teacher Nicole Keim's Marmalade Creations felt applique hair clips are simply adorable, sporting everything from cute stitched piggies to button-adorned roller girl motifs, making them suitable for everyone from your five-year-old niece to your grown-up bohemian hipster sister. Fun and funky.
