We're all hearing a lot of talk this holiday season about shopping local and what it means to a community. But Talulah Jones shop owner Robin Lohre is doing more than that: Beginning December 1, Lohre will host a reception showcasing a different local artisan every night through Christmas Eve. Check Show and Tell daily to see who's on the night's roster.

The countdown to Christmas Eve is nigh, but Talulah Jones is on it, still, right to the bitter end. But the benefits are totally sweet:To wrap up the 24 Days of Christmas, Robin Lohre will begin by hosting Kate Adams of Sweet Pea Pockets. The aforementioned "pockets" are adorable little clutches and larger market bags made from from repurposed European vintage grain and coffee sacks Adams has collected; on them, she silkscreens images from ephemera and photographs, as well as her own artwork.

Next up is Anne Franklin, an upcyler-of-all-trades, who remakes the ordinary into little treasures. That would include such whimsies as themed Scrabble-tile pendants, decoupaged clothespins and more. One look and you'll never know how you ever managed to live without any of them.

And finally, on Christmas Eve, Lohre will feature her own creations. What might those be? You will just have to drop in for a visit to find out!
