Make something happen: Help kickstart a dream for Rob Mack and Samuel Schimek

Microclimates Exhibition Poster.jpg
Big ideas take time to hatch, and for that reason Denver artists Rob Mack and Samuel Schimek have already announced their joint exhibition, Microclimates, which they describe as a large-scale graphic art environment in three distinctive parts and will open in June at Super Ordinary Gallery (a nascent venue that art and fashion entrepreneurs Tran and Josh Wills will debut in March in the RiNo district). Along with the physical/visual aspects of the planned show, Mack and Schimek are also partnering with Solid Bump Records to create a musical "SoundCloud" component and designer Rebecca Peebles of Hol Sum, who will borrow graphic elements from the installation to create fabric designs for a clothing line.

Eventually, they hope to grow the show to a national level, not just as a touring exhibition, but as a morphing project inspired by new community collaborations. And to that eventual end, Mack and Schimek launched a sixty-day Kickstarter fundraiser with the following video. Check it out (and the incentives, too)!
