Comment of the day: "Besides, the guy's dead"

​Replying to Colin Bane's post from a couple of days ago on John Denver's likely entry into the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum Hall of Fame, reader Angela Roberts opined that John Denver is and ever shall be the popular face of Colorado to the rest of the world. I highlighted her comment in yesterday's Comment of the Day, but a crack I made about Dan Fogelberg in response to her didn't "go down easy" with reader MD, who argues that the taunting really shouldn't go on any "longer."

Has anyone who rags on Fogelberg ever bothered to listen to more than "Longer"? Besides, the guy's dead, maybe it's time to pick on a less easy target.
