Denver Post travel editor (and former Westword restaurant critic) Kyle Wagner has one of the best gigs in town: Getting out of town, every chance she gets. Tonight the Carrying On blogger will be holding holding forth at REI's Denver flagship store, 1416 Platte Street, to share some of her secrets, from packing light and blazing through security lines to her top destination and dining recommendations (and, this is being an REI event after all, her favorite gear).
Ask her about her recent adventures abroad and at home, like giving up the family car: Apparently it can be done, even by a travel writer.
