Comment of the day: "TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT"

paper crane.jpg
It was pretty damn lame on Tuesday when the Denver Art Museum cut down Talia Kauk's unauthorized installation of 1,000 paper cranes in front of the Hamilton Building and threw it in the trash -- and I said as much in the post I wrote on it, where bitched about the DAM's depressing failure to recognize the artistic community it's supposed to serve and represent. I didn't necessarily see it as being about the intrusion of Big Government in to citizens' private lives -- but reader Goldenbulls did.

America has TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT...we must allow artistic expression to nurture and represent the artistic community and FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION!

YOU COULD BE NEXT!

Well, that certainly sounds ominous.
