Five bizarre comics found at the Denver ComicFest
While the Denver ComicFest this weekend wasn't as full of crazy costumes as it's counterpart, StarFest, it was full of ridiculous comics. We sifted through the bins to find these five bizarre comic book covers. 
Insane Clown Posse comics
While we knew that the dudes behind ICP were insane merchandisers, we had no idea that extended beyond XXL hoodies and creepy action figures. Apparently, Juggalos also read comics, and those comics have Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope in them.
Adlai Stevenson
Not all comic heroes have supernatural powers, as this totally dweeby-looking comic proves. Unless, of course, oratorical skills are a super power. This comic, for whatever reason, chronicles the life of former Governor of Illinois and defeated presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson. The tagline of this book is "an inspirational life story," but c'mon, man, where are the epic battle scenes?
Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp
Based on the '70s television show of the same name, this disconcerting cover shows Lancelot Link, the James Bond of monkeys, playing pool with a chimp dressed as a king. What does it all mean? That people like to look at monkeys dressed in people clothes.
The 'Nam
While a lot of comic reading is for pleasure or escape, this one brings us back to the grim reality of the Vietnam War. Because apparently, while the war was pretty unpopular, it was popular enough to have a comic book written about it.
Alien Worlds
This bizarre cover features a naked woman rapturously sitting on the moon, little green men planting a flag and a very phallic spaceship. And if that weren't enough to entice you, it's also in 3D. This is obviously meant to attract readers who will probably only ever see a naked woman in illustrated form.
