Thank you, Easter bunny! Copper Mountain's Spring Sunsation festival and 2010/2011 ski season winds up this weekend with a world record attempt on Saturday at 10 a.m. "Time to break out those swimsuits and sunglasses, because we're going to be trying to break the world record for most people to apply sunscreen at the same time at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and we've got like a hundred tubes of Zinka sunscreen," says Copper spokesman David Roth. There's live music at the base area featuring The Samples (Saturday's headliner) and Reel Big Fish (Sunday's headliner). And don't miss "Colorado's biggest Easter egg hunt" on Sunday, where the eggs stashed around the village and all over the mountain have been known to include season passes, lift tickets, Woodward at Copper session passes and gift cards for the shops and restaurants in the Copper Village.

After the jump: Five other fantastic ways to mark the turning of the seasons and the resurrection of that one righteous dude.
