H&M gets added to the Denver Pavilion retail line-up
Although a date hasn't been confirmed, the internationally renowned clothing store H&M is set to take over the current Nike Town location of the Denver Pavilions on the 16th Street Mall, Pavilions owner Gart Properties announced at a press conference this morning. Being in the heart of downtown Denver and with 64,000 residents, 55,000 students and an average of 12 million visitors expected, the 21,000 square-foot store will garner some serious exposure. ![]()
Hannah Thomas Mark Sidell, Richard Scharf, Tracy Huggins, Bill Vidal, and Tamara Door all welcome the global retailer to the Denver Pavilions.
The store will carry a clothing for men, women, teens, and children, in addition to accessories, denim, cosmetics and lingerie, all of which are refreshed daily to keep up with the fast-paced style industry.
"Having H&M choose Denver Pavilions for its first Colorado location is an incredible accomplishment," said mayor Bill Vidal, "our vision of the city is coming together." ![]()

"Securing H&M is a huge for Denver," agreed Tamara Door, President and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership. In addition to becoming a highlight of the 16th Street Mall, the opening of H&M is expected to positively influence the surrounding economy with an increase in tax revenue and new jobs.
