Over the weekend: Sunshine, food trucks and sweet deals at the Horseshoe Market

smaller-postcard1.jpg
Blue skies reigned at Saturday's Horseshoe Craft and Flea Market in Berkeley Park, where more than 100 craft and flea market vendors set up their tents in a parking lot at 46th Avenue and Tennyson Street. That noted, it couldn't have been a more beautiful day for mother-daughter bonding, people (girl and dog) watching, freshly slung pizzas, gourmet iced mocktails and hunting for lucky finds from Colorado crafters and funky shabby-chic dealers.

Hair flowers, adorable stuffed nonsense, chic shoes and big bags were just a few of the things proffered at the season's first Horseshoe.
