Comment of the day: Why did the People's Fair choose Miller?

While most folks go to festivals like the Capitol Hill People's Fair mostly for the bouncy-castle and the shirtless ambience, Bree Davies is partial to the finer points of festival vending, like hats for dogs and paintings of sheep in trench coats; in her recap of the fair yesterday, she brought back these and weirder items she perused. Chiming in with an interesting question, though, reader Henry is less concerned with what the fair is selling than with who's paying.

I just want to know with all the amazing craft beers in the City, why the association who puts on the fair chooses to partner with Miller Brewing company?

Since Miller Lite is listed as a top sponsor for the fair, Henry, we're guessing that most of Denver's craft beer companies probably couldn't afford it -- still, being that Miller is the same company as Coors, you'd think they would have gone with the brand with the local ties. What's up with that, MillerCoors?
