Help out Denver native AnnaSophia Robb with a vote in the Teen Choice Awards
Alright, so we didn't like Soul Surfer that much. But they can't all be gems, and when it comes to elevating fellow Denverites into the echelons of dumb awards, we're always willing to help a brother out -- so take, if you will, a moment from your busy day and cast a vote for young Denver actress AnnaSophia Robb as best actress in a Drama in the Fox Teen Choice Awards. Technically, you have to be a teenager to vote (because, you know), but you can always do what we did and lie about your age. 
She would vote for you.
Unlike most of the people nominated for a Teen Choice Award, Robb is actually a teenager -- which just makes her resume that much more impressive -- aside from playing the lead in Soul Surfer, she played lead character Leslie Burke in Bridge to Terabithia at the age of 14 and Violet Beauregarde alongside Johnny Depp-as-Willy Wonka in the Tim Burton adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the age of 12. The girl can sing, too; she did the song "Keep your Mind Wide Open" for the Bridge to Terabithia soundtrack, the video for which did heavy rotation on the Disney Channel and managed to peak at no. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100. And frankly, the song's not half bad:
Plus, even if Soul Surfer didn't pop our mind grapes, it was at least better than Country Strong.
